Qualification Stage

Complete the LearningFirst Qualification Bundle

Work through the official IPsyO study bundle at your own pace and earn 470+ of 780 points to qualify — there is no separate qualification examination.

Competition Stage

The competition comprises two complementary modules that together span the full arc of higher-order thinking: candidates first work within given material, then move beyond it.

Module A: Analytical Reasoning

Work within the provided research materials - interpret evidence, evaluate arguments, and reach the conclusions the material best supports.

Module B: Advanced Thinking

Move beyond the material - diagnose the underlying problem of a complex case and build an original, evidence-based response. Open to the Regional Top 6 Medalists from Module A.
